Job Description

Senior Associate - Tax 

Job Description:

- Manage client relationships, including international clients, and liaise with clients and MIRA during tax audits.
- Assist in making strategic plans for the tax department, developing tax-related objectives, plans, and scope through research and review of available information.
- Oversee and manage the tax team, ensuring effective performance.
- Facilitate information flow between partners, HoDs, and the tax team.
- Complete deadline based tasks efficiently without compromising quality, and handle GST, BPT/CIT, WHT, GRT, NWT tasks, and assist with tax issues.

• - Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification
• - Minimum 2 years of work experience in a related field
• - Familiar with Maldives Tax Laws and Regulations.
• - Computer literate with working knowledge on Microsoft Ofiice.
• - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in English
• - Ability to work independently with multiple priorities and meet challenging deadlines.
