Job Description

CTL Strategies LLP is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Corporate Advisory Practice. This role is suited for a lawyer with two (2) or more years of licensed experience who is capable of handling matters with greater independence and providing structured advisory support to clients.

The Senior Associate will play a key role in managing transactions, coordinating matters, and mentoring junior team members.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising clients on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters
• Transaction management and advisory
• Client management
• Managing company incorporations, restructurings, and ongoing compliance engagements
• Overseeing company secretarial matters and statutory filings
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating corporate and commercial agreements
• Preparing advisory memoranda and client communications
• Translating and reviewing bilingual (Dhivehi–English) legal documents
• Supervising and mentoring junior associates and trainees

• - Bachelor's Degree in Law
• - Admitted to the Bar with a minimum of two (2) years of licensed legal experience
• - Strong practical knowledge of Maldivian corporate, commercial, and regulatory frameworks
• - Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters concurrently
• - Strong drafting, analytical, and organisational skills
• - Excellent communication skills in English and Dhivehi
