Post Scrum Master

Term of Employment Duration of the assignment is 6 (six) months from the commencement of the work. Contract extension based on performance and need.

Scope of Work
The Agile Scrum Master guides the team and the organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers; Guide on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks; Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
Facilitate getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work; Facilitate the discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution; Support and educate the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
Qualification & Experience
- Hands-on experience in Scrum & Kanban.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- 5+ years in a project delivery role (technical role preferred)
- 3+ years of experience executing Agile projects in large, complex environments.
- 2+ years experience in coaching, mentoring and training new Agile/Scrum teams.
- 2 + years experience in a digital transformation project
- Hands-on experience with Jira/Miro/Notion or related project management tools.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for contributing to overall project objectives and specific team deliverables.
- Understanding product planning in an empirical environment.
- Finding techniques for effective Product Backlog management.
- Manages specific project plan activities and contributes to project plan development in collaboration with the product owner.
- Helping the Scrum team understand the need for clear and concise product backlog items.
- Ensuring the product owner knows how to arrange the product backlog to maximize value.
- Coordinate documentation, testing, and training efforts related to the project plan.
- Coaching the development team in self-organization and cross-functionality.
- Facilitating Scrum events as requested or needed.
- Understanding and practicing agility.
- Responsible for managing each development sprint, the daily Scrum, and ensuring that the team properly applies Agile development principles.
- Leading and coaching the organization in its Scrum adoption.
- Helping the Development Team to create high-value products.
