Role Overview
The Sales Manager will be responsible for designing, executing, and leading CGT’s sales strategy across all verticals and product categories. This is a senior leadership role that combines strategic planning, channel management, and sales force leadership. You will manage all aspects of route-to-market optimisation, key account development, and sales performance management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the national sales strategy across F&B segments.
- Build channel-specific plans for Wholesale, Resort, and HoReCa verticals to maximise coverage and volume.
- Sales forecasting and performance tracking by channel and product line.
- Build and lead a high-performance sales team, including vertical-specific managers and field executives.
- Track KPIs for each team and ensure consistent coaching and development.
- Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and training of sales personnel.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with key accounts, national wholesalers, resorts, and HoReCa operators.
- Oversee negotiation of contracts, pricing agreements, and credit terms.
- Collaborate closely with the Trade Marketing team to align in-field execution and promotional strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in FMCG sales.
- Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Proven success managing multi-channel sales teams and large accounts.
- A strong understanding of the Maldives market, particularly within the resort, wholesale, and HoReCa sectors, would be a plus.
- Fluent in English; Dhivehi language skills are a plus
