Job Description

Terms of ReferenceSales Manager

 

Position Summary:

The Sales Manager will oversee the sales operations at the HSC Bar2000 Showroom, driving both wholesale and retail performance. This includes managing product promotion, client relations, and sales team leadership to achieve set business goals. The role focuses on growing revenue streams through innovative sales strategies, excellent customer service, and strong team coordination.

 

The HSC Bar2000 Showroom showcases a premium range of Bar2000 coffee beans and pods, state-of-the-art coffee machines, and related accessories. It also features Diplo cleaning solutions, Malizia personal care products, and a selection of high-quality food items such as San Michele Olive Oil and Iskon Sunflower Oil, specially imported from Europe to serve the Maldivian market. The showroom also functions as the official display space for Bar2000’s full coffee equipment line.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies for all product categories.
  • Evaluate market trends and competitors to position products strategically.

 

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients.
  • Provide post-sale support and ensure customer satisfaction through timely communication and service.

 

Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
  • Maintain CRM systems and sales documentation with accuracy.

 

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise the sales team, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Organize product training sessions and set clear sales objectives.

 

Quality & Compliance

  • Uphold organizational standards in service delivery and ethical sales practices.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and relevant regulations.

 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Monthly/quarterly sales growth (%)
  • New client acquisition targets
  • Client retention rate
  • Team productivity metrics
  • Accuracy and timeliness of reports

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience; 1–3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of B2B and B2C sales cycles.
  • Fluency in English and Dhivehi (written and spoken).
