Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail oriented Purchasing Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage international sourcing and purchasing activities, ensuring cost effective procurement, timely delivery, and full compliance with company and trade standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and negotiate with international suppliers.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations, freight costs, and lead times.
• Prepare and process international purchase orders.
• Coordinate shipments with suppliers, freight forwarders, and clearing agents.
• Track orders, manage deliveries, and resolve delays or discrepancies.
• Maintain supplier database and purchasing records.
• Monitor inventory levels considering international lead times.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, quality standards, and import regulations.

 

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma/Bachelor’s in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years’ experience in procurement, preferably international sourcing.
• Knowledge of international trade, shipping, and customs procedures.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and procurement/ERP systems.
