RESPONSIBILITIES:
PROJECT PLANNING:
- Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with project managers.
- Contribute to the identification of key project milestones and deliverables.
COORDINATION AND COMMUNICATION:
- Facilitate communication between project team members, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate project logistics, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.
BUDGET MANAGEMENT:
- Monitor project expenditures and assist in tracking budget compliance.
- Collaborate with finance teams to reconcile project expenses and ensure financial accuracy.
SITE SUPERVISION:
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Coordinate with construction teams to address issues and ensure adherence to project specifications.
DOCUMENTATION AND REPORTING:
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.
- Prepare regular progress reports for project managers and stakeholders.
QUALITY CONTROL:
- Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure construction activities meet industry standards and project requirements.
- Address and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
RISK MANAGEMENT:
- Identify potential risks and challenges in project execution.
- Assist in developing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT:
- Foster positive relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Address stakeholder concerns and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
RESOURCE ALLOCATION:
- Assist in coordinating the allocation of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to meet project objectives.
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field or minimum 2-year experience in similar work.
EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience in construction project management or related roles is preferred.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:
- Familiarity with construction processes, building codes, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
