Job Description

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Under guidance from the Project Manager, coordinate & implement activities of programs and projects and ensure that activities are completed in a timely manner.
  2. Identify activities and develop detailed concept notes and work plans.
  3. Contribute to budget preparation, expense control activities, project implementation and budget utilization.
  4. Undertake monitoring and evaluation of programs and activities.
  5. Participate in project planning and budgeting and monitor budget utilization for specific activities.
  6. Prepare regular updates on progress and status of project implementation to Project Manager.
  7. Conduct and support relevant trainings for communities targeted to their empowerment and awareness in association with LSM training institute.
  8. Communicate and coordinate with donors on revisions/changes to activities, timelines and other implementation tasks and scope of the project.
  9. Coordinate with consultants, sub-grantees, and sub-awardees on implementation of activities.

 

COMPETENCIES

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills including good command of both written and spoken English and Dhivehi
  • Result oriented: Ability to work independently and ability to get things done.
  • Management: Organizing skills for effective and smooth operational flow.
  • Technology: Experience with or willingness to learn how to use online tools & software to manage work and conduct meetings; Familiarity with MS office package.
  • Innovation and creativity: Ability to come up with new ideas to achieve objectives and make new and useful ideas work

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • O'Level/A'level completion
  • Current students (Degree in Environmental Management/Law) will be prioritized
