Food Distribution & Supply Company | Maldives

Due to our rapid growth, we are on the lookout for a strategic, detail-driven Procurement Manager to lead sourcing and supplier relationships for a growing food business in the Maldives. If you know how to balance quality, cost, and reliability—especially in island logistics—this role is for you.

About the Role

As Procurement Manager, you’ll take ownership of our end-to-end purchasing operations, ensuring uninterrupted supply of high-quality food products while optimizing costs and maintaining strong supplier partnerships locally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business goals
• Source, negotiate, and manage local and international suppliers
• Ensure consistent availability of food products across all categories
• Manage supplier performance
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand with operations and sales teams
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and import regulations
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
• Manage procurement documentation and reporting

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in procurement/supply chain management (Food/FMCG essential)
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Understanding of import logistics and customs processes (Maldives experience a plus)
• Analytical mindset with strong planning and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Proficiency in procurement systems and Excel
• Leadership experience managing vendors or teams is an advantage
