Role Overview: The role of an Operations Manager involves the strategic implementation of optimal processes and practices within the organization. Key responsibilities include formulating comprehensive strategies, enhancing overall performance, overseeing procurement of critical resources, and ensuring strict regulatory compliance. An essential aspect of this role involves providing guidance to team members, improving the quality of customer service, and instituting industry-leading practices at every operational tier. Above all, your expertise will be instrumental in upholding our commitment to unwavering compliance, operational efficiency, and sustained profitability throughout our business endeavors.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices.
Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency.
Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant.
Formulate strategic and operational objectives.
Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability.
Manage budgets and forecasts.
Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs.
Recruit, train and supervise staff.
Find ways to increase quality of customer service.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Advanced degree or certifications in operations management could be beneficial.
• Proven track record with at least 5-7 years of progressive experience in operations management,
preferably in a similar industry or environment.
• Experience in managing a diverse range of operational functions including logistics, construction,
procurement, and facilities management.
• Proficiency in relevant software for inventory management, logistics tracking, and reporting.
• Experience budgeting and forecasting
• Excellent communication skills
