PURPOSE OF THIS JOB
Develop the brand salience, per capital consumption, consumer awareness through consumer marketing & sports & events activities together with developing, controlling, and managing the annual strategic marketing, trade marketing (off-premises) and sales plan, delivering the committed financial budgets/P&L together with a strong skilled and motivated marketing team and sales & distribution partners.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Clear understanding of markets, sales & distribution, competitor activity and consumer behavior in an FMCG context, especially the market of the assigned country
- Ability to work through business strategies and implement them successfully, while managing the associated change & people processes
- Strong analytical ability and commercial acumen to understand financial statements and market trends
- Effective negotiation and interpersonal skills
- High standard of integrity with a passion for the brand and commitment to Red Bull values
- An entrepreneurial ’can - do’ attitude facilitated by continuous learning and application of appropriate ’best practices’
- Balanced yet strong first hand exposure to premium sales, marketing and distributor management
- Ability to focus and follow through on priorities and deliver quality results
- A successful experience in a similar position of leadership & accountability, with strong people management skills and the ability to lead, motivate & coach teams
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing management experience.
- A formal education / training in marketing management will be useful
- Fluency in spoken & written English is mandatory along with Sinhala and a fair knowledge of Tamil.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Degree from a recognized university or Completed qualification from the Chartered institute of Marketing.
Minimum of 5 years marketing experience in Senior Brands or Marketing Management experience
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS - Fluent in English
