Job Description

Overall Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as Manager, Finance & Administration. The ideal candidate will be a key player in ensuring the financial health and strategic growth of the organization.

Job Profile Responsibilites:

This role requires a forward-thinking professional with a strong grasp of both technical finance and strategic leadership. The responsibilities will include:

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Providing and interpreting financial information to senior management to guide business decisions, including the preparation of financial reports, other regulatory reporting, and subsidiary-level reports for group reporting.
• Operational Oversight: Managing the accounts payable process and maintaining proper records.
• Reconciliation & Compliance: Carrying out general ledger (GL) and daily bank reconciliations, ensuring strict adherence to systems, procedures, and statutory regulations.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Developing trends and projections for the firm's finances and managing the company's budget preparation.
• Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks that could impact the company's performance.
• Strategic Planning: Formulating strategic and long-term business plans and researching factors that influence business performance.
• Leadership & Collaboration: Overseeing the operations of the finance department, setting goals, and providing guidance to employees to ensure financial processes are efficient and objectives are met

• Experience in the banking or financial industry is a distinct advantage.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with the commitment to pursue a full professional qualification recognized by CA Maldives or candidate with a full professional qualification such as ACCA/CIMA or any professional qualification by accounting bodies recognized by CA Maldives.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in a leadership or managerial capacity.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
• This position is open to Maldivian Nationals only.
