Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated IT Technician to join our team. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing security and IT-related systems such as Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Systems. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to provide reliable support both in-house and at client sites.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and repair Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Systems.
- Perform system testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
- Install and maintain hardware components including readers, cameras, panels, switches, and NVRs.
- Diagnose, repair, and replace wiring, devices, and control panels (analog and digital).
- Maintain and repair IT and security system components, including software, power supplies, and fiber/copper systems.
- Provide technical support and act as an advisor on system programming and configurations.
- Handle cabling tasks (installing, terminating, labeling, and documenting).
- Troubleshoot, repair, and monitor alarm system hardware and electronic devices.
- Prepare material requests and ensure timely procurement for projects.
- Carry out additional tasks assigned by the IT Manager.
Requirements
- Diploma/Certification in IT, Networking, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT support, networking, or security systems installation.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, and system troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with cabling, wiring, and system integration.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Physically fit and flexible to work extended hours if required.
