Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Technician to join our team. This role involves providing comprehensive IT support, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems, and maintaining optimal performance and security for organizational IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Manage user accounts and permissions, including onboarding new users and updating access rights.
• Address IT support requests from employees promptly and effectively.
• Maintain and update the inventory of IT equipment and identify shortages or areas requiring upgrades.
• Recommend and implement upgrades or replacements to optimize IT system performance and efficiency.
• Implement and maintain firewalls, antivirus software, and other security measures to protect IT systems from threats.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks on IT equipment and systems to ensure optimal functionality, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Assist senior IT officers in completing assigned projects and tasks.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues across various platforms and technologies.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving capabilities to identify root causes of IT issues and implement effective solutions.
• Adaptability: Capacity to adapt to evolving technology environments and quickly learn new tools and systems.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, stakeholders, and vendors.
• Knowledge: Sound understanding of internet security and data privacy principles.
• Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit to perform tasks such as equipment installation and maintenance.
