Job Description

TERMS OF REFERENCE (TOR)
Post: Human Resource Officer
No of Vacancies: 01
Post Type: Permanent
Department: Administration and People Management Department
Reporting to: Manager – Administration and People management
Key tasks, responsibilities, and deliverables:
• Facilitate employee onboarding, including completion of due diligence, issuing job
offer letters and contracts, and preparing employee files.
• Updating and maintaining employee records in the HR system.
• Plan and coordinate new employee orientation programs.
• Track employee probation periods and follow up to ensure timely performance
assessments.
• Enroll new employees in the organization's health insurance policy.
• Processing monthly payrolls and required other salary settlements.
• Maintaining records related to grievances, performance evaluations, and disciplinary
actions.
• Conduct file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation are properly
maintained.
• Manage all tasks related to local and international travel, including visa applications,
diplomatic documentation, flight and hotel bookings, and expense claim processing.
• Ensure trip reports are submitted within the required time frame.
• Maintain a registry of all local and international trips.
• Support and coordinate the performance evaluation process of employees.
• Assist in arranging training and seminars.
• Assist in drafting letters, memos, SOPs, policies and procedures.
• Schedule HR-related meetings and events and maintain relevant agendas and
documentation.
• Responding to all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
• Assists with planning and execution of special events such as recreational activities,
and team-building activities.
• Carry out ad hoc tasks and assignments as required.
Requirements and Qualifications:
• MQA level 5 or 6 qualifications in Human Resources/Management/Business with
minimum of 02-years’ experience in a relevant field.
Other Competencies required:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Dhivehi and English.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to
adapt to change.
• Demonstrated job commitment and personal flexibility to meet changing
expectations. 
• Commitment to self-development and expansion of knowledge.
• Importance will be given to those candidates with similar experience.
Remuneration package:
• Gross pay is between MVR 15,500 – MVR 16,400 depending on the Qualification and
Experience.

Working Hours: 
• The selected applicant will be required to work from 0800 to 1600 on weekdays.
