Job Title: Heavy Vehicle Engineer

Location: Will be involved in travelling to and from different sites

Starting Salary: MVR 20,000 - 27,000 (Negotiable)

Role Overview: Join Cristallo as a Heavy Vehicle Engineer and be at the forefront of ensuring the reliability and peak performance of our heavy vehicles and machinery. Your role will involve conducting regular maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs, contributing directly to the success of our services. Bring your technical expertise to a dynamic team and play a key part in maintaining the high standards of quality that define Cristallo's operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine inspections and diagnostics on heavy vehicles.
• Conduct necessary repairs to ensure optimal fleet performance.
• Contribute to project timelines through effective maintenance.
• Provide after-sales services for sold vehicles.
• Uphold safety and quality standards in all repair activities.

Requirements:
• Practical Mechanical skills and at least 3 years in the field.
• Experience working in coastal environments such as Maldives is an added bonus
• Language proficiency in English and Dhivehi. (Other Languages are an added bonus)
• Understanding of technology and systems used in heavy vehicles.
• Methodical approach to solving problems.
• Awareness of health and safety issues.
• Ability to read and understand technical diagrams.
• Knowledge of diesel engines and their parts.
• Knowledge on Kobelco, Komatsu, CAT, JCB, Sany, Tata and other heavy vehicle brands.
• Proven Knowledge & experience working on Heavy Vehicles and Diesel-Powered vehicles.
• Skill in repairing and maintaining diesel engines.
• Will need to travel to site and attend the vehicle issued by Boat or any vehicle based on situation and availability.
• Follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined, including belts, hoses, steering systems, spark plugs, brake and fuel systems, wheel bearings, and other potentials troublesome areas.
• Cleaning the parts of the machine to prevent clogging.
• Performing routine maintenance and overseeing repairs if necessary.
