The Accounts Officer will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and maintaining financial records.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare and process financial transactions, including accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial records
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
- Monitor and control expenses
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations
- Provide support during audits
- Perform other accounting duties as required
Qualifications:
- Certification in accounting or finance
- Proven experience as an Accounts Officer or in a similar role
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working conditions: This is a full-time position that may require occasional overtime or weekend work
