Job Description
Credit Assessment and Processing:
- Evaluate Facility applications by analyzing financial statements, credit history, and risk factors.
- Conduct due diligence to ensure applicants meet eligibility criteria.
- Verify customer information, including income sources, liabilities, and repayment capacity.
- Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for approval.
- Issuance of offer letters to customers within the stipulated timeframe.
Facility Underwriting and Approval:
- Assess the creditworthiness of applicants and provide recommendations to the credit committee.
- Ensure facility proposals align with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in structuring facility terms and conditions to minimize risk.
Customer Service and Relationship Management:
- Provide guidance to customers on facility products and financing options.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues related to credit applications, and issue reference letters.
- Develop strong client relationships to enhance customer retention.
- Monitor the performance of assigned facilities during the grace period, and communicate with customers both verbally and in writing, as required by company policies
Reporting and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate records of facility approvals, disbursements, and the archiving of all assigned applications.
- Assist in preparing regular reports on credit performance.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, risk frameworks, and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in conducting the annual diagnostic review of the mortgaged asset.
- Assist in designing housing finance products to suit the different housing market segments.
- Assist in conducting market surveys as required by the department.
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a related field.
Experience
- Work experience in the banking and finance sector will be an added advantage.
Skills
- Good analytical and decision-making skills
- Should be an effectual communicator verbally and through writing skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Competent with General Office Software
Salary: Salary ranging from MVR 11,000 to 13,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
