Job Description
Credit Application Review:
- Review and analyse credit applications to assess risk and creditworthiness.
- Place credit decisions with the appropriate approval authority after thorough evaluation.
Evaluation Process Oversight:
- Oversee the entire evaluation process of loan applications to ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines.
- Ensure that the technical sections of loan applications comply with established standards.
Loan Evaluation and Disbursement:
- Review disbursements and evaluate loan applications to ensure sound lending practices.
- Counsel clients on policies and restrictions in line with HDFC credit underwriting guidelines.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare Grace Reports to provide timely updates on loan applications and evaluations.
- Maintain an up-to-date loan portfolio and database, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Generate monthly performance reports on accounts and prepare Monthly CRIB reports for management.
- Prepare compliance-related reports and contribute to the Annual Performance Report for Management.
Process Improvement:
- Involve in establishing new procedures, assessing gaps in policies and procedures, and recommending improvements as needed.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the line manager, department, or management.
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, Finance, banking.
Experience
- 2 years of experience in business, finance, administration or related roles.
- Prior experience in credit analysis is preferred.
Skills
- Strong analytical and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of credit risk assessment methodologies is an advantage
Salary: Salary ranging from MVR 18,000 to 20,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
