Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Maldivian for the post of Construction Site Manager at Alia Construction (Pvt) Ltd. The Construction Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, including planning work schedules, coordinating daily tasks, monitoring progress and quality, ensuring safety compliance, procuring materials, and communicating with management to resolve any issues. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the day-to-day running of the site, including monitoring materials, organizing equipment, and scheduling deliveries
• Supervising the on-site staff and subcontractors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and according to quality standards
• Adhering to any applicable building codes and regulations and addressing potential hazards
• Ensuring contractual compliance
• Monitoring and mitigating any risks arising on-site
• Managing the construction schedule in collaboration with engineers and management to ensure timely completion
• Keeping detailed records of project progress, including daily reports and necessary documentation
• Other works that may be necessary

Requirements:

• Should be over 35 years old
• Able to work long hours and have no reservations in working at project sites outside Male'
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of construction practices and proficiency in project management
• Able to understand building codes and safety regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Over 5 years’ experience in the field will be an added advantage
