Objective:
The Community Outreach Coordinator at Maldives Business School will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining positive relationships with the local community. This individual will be responsible for creating and implementing outreach programs, engaging with community members, and fostering a strong connection between the institution and its surrounding community.
Responsibilities:
Program Development:
• Create, plan, and execute community outreach programs aligned with the mission and values of Maldives Business School.
• Collaborate with internal departments to identify areas where community engagement can enhance the institution's impact.
Stakeholder Engagement:
• Build and maintain relationships with local community leaders, organizations, and businesses.
• Act as a liaison between Maldives Business School and the community to address concerns, gather feedback, and foster open communication.
Event Coordination:
• Organize and coordinate events, workshops, and seminars aimed at promoting education and awareness within the community.
• Ensure seamless execution of outreach events, including logistics, promotion, and participant engagement.
Marketing and Promotion:
• Coordinate with the marketing team and develop marketing materials to promote Maldives Business School's community outreach initiatives.
• Utilize various communication channels, including social media, to effectively reach and engage with the community.
Collaboration with Educational Institutions:
• Establish partnerships with local schools, colleges, and different atolls to promote educational initiatives and programs.
Reporting:
• Provide regular reports to the management team on the outcomes and impact of community outreach initiatives.
• Share success stories and key learnings to celebrate achievements and continuously improve strategies.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in community outreach, event coordination, or related roles preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with the local community and its needs.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse people.
