Job Description

• Monitor patient’s intra cardiac pressures and ECG whilst the patient is undergoing the invasive cardiac procedures both right and left heart studies.
• Report operating clinician of any adverse reactions during the procedure. Responsible for cardiac massage and defibrillation in the event of a cardiac arrest, and preparing emergency pacing equipment for temporary pacing in the event of an emergency
• Assist to perform the procedures including angiography, PCI, CTO, IVUS, Rotablation, pressure wire, peripheral PCI, temporary and permanent pacemaker implants. Also assisting and performing cardiologist during non-invasive procedures in cath lab, ICU as well as Diagnostic Department.

• Responsible for patient registration, file work, maintaining the consumable stock, report preparation and patient scheduling.

• Responsible for the maintenance, quality assurance and infection control of any equipment used in order to maintain quality standards
• To ensure patients are monitored appropriately during investigations and ensuring swift and appropriate action is taken to minimize life threatening or significant medical events
• To liaise with relevant medical, nursing and clerical staff when required
