Position Overview
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and executing growth opportunities for MGH Group across its various business sectors. This role focuses on market research, strategic partnerships, and driving revenue generation through new ventures, client acquisition, and service expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across different sectors.
- Conduct market research to analyze trends, competition, and potential growth areas.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships to support long-term business growth.
- Develop and implement strategies for client acquisition and retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams to expand services and enhance offerings.
- Monitor and report on business development progress and results.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic planning.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the Maldivian business environment and international trade.
- Ability to identify, evaluate, and capitalize on emerging business opportunities.
