Job Description

Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns
Liase with clients to collect required documents and resolve tax-related queries
Conduct research on tax laws, regulations and rulings to support tax computations
Assist in preparation of financial statements of clients
Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with statutory requirements

Qualifications

Stong interest in taxation with and willingness to learn and develop
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, while meeting tight deadlines
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Dhivehi
Good overall computer literacy with the ability to adapt to new systems
Proficient at a basic to intermediate level in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Strong analytical skills with initiative, problem-solving ability, and sound organizational skills
