Crowe Maldives is seeking one (1) Associate, Accounting to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the delivery of accounting and compliance services to a diverse portfolio of clients. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accounting records, performing reconciliations, assisting in the preparation of tax returns and financial statements, and providing general accounting support under the guidance of senior team members. This position offers valuable hands-on exposure to professional accounting practices and an opportunity to develop technical and practical skills within a collaborative and growth-oriented professional environment.

Job Description

• Posting accounting entries to the bookkeeping software.
• Conducting bank reconciliations and other receivables and payables reconciliations
• Preparation of GST and other tax returns of the clients.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements of clients.
• Assist in other accounting related works as directed by supervisor.

Qualifications

• GCE O’ Level or GCE A’ Level.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Competency in English & Dhivehi language, written and spoken. Reasonable computer literacy.
• Basic/Medium level understanding of Microsoft suite of products.
• Initiative & the ability to work in a team & excellent communication skill.

Additional Information

• Total pay package MVR 7,500.

• Working Hours 08:00 – 15:30 (Sunday to Thursday)
