Requirements
A’ level (minimum 3 passes—including Accounts & English) or O’ level (minimum 5 Pass – including Accounts, English & Mathematics) standard.
Experience in a related field would be an added advantage.
Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office advanced level; Excel, Access
Excellent inter-personal skills and communication skills (oral and written).
Willingness to learn and then be able to apply.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Major responsibilities
Perform bank and account reconciliations; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain and support financial control procedures and reporting.
Reconcile monthly sales activities and update financial models as required.
Assist with internal and external audits, including documentation and confirmations.
Prepare invoices and enter supplier bills accurately.
Issue invoices and outstanding statements to customers on time.
Manage credit control and follow up on overdue payments.
Handle billing disputes and negotiate payment terms.
Ensure timely receipt of cheques and other payments.
Prepare weekly and monthly collection reports.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records.
Meet monthly collection targets.
Perform other assigned accounting and administrative duties.
