Position: Welding Engineer (Metal)
Location: Maldives
Salary: 9,000 - 13,000 Negotiable (based on skill & experience)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Welding Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate possesses a deep, comprehensive understanding of all welding processes and types, combined with a strong desire to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies. In this role, you will oversee welding operations, develop welding procedures, and ensure the highest standards of safety and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Oversight: Design, develop, and implement welding procedures (WPS) for various projects using diverse techniques (TIG, MIG, Stick, Flux-Cored, Plasma, etc.).
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all welding activities comply with relevant industry standards, codes (e.g., AWS, ASME, ISO), and customer specifications.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve welding defects, structural integrity issues, or equipment failures on the floor.
• Innovation & Research: Stay up to date with the latest advancements in metallurgy and welding technology to improve production efficiency and quality.
• Mentorship: Guide and support the welding technicians and operators on best practices and safety protocols.
