Job Description

Read drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
2. Conduct routine maintenance required from welding as per the instruction by the supervisor.
3. Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws
to match measurements)
4. Align components using callipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces.
5. Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions
(vertical, horizontal or overhead)
6. Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
7. Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.
8. Attend to welding work required by both vehicle and property maintenance unit in Wamco site.
9. Keep the welding equipment in proper conditioned and inform addition equipment required if any
to the supervisor.
10. All maintenance work that required welding shall be completed on time and as per the instruction
provided by the supervisor.
