Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly dependable and professional Personal Driver to provide transportation services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the employer and his family members to various destinations, ensuring safety, comfort, and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Personal Transportation: Drive the employer and family members to appointments, school, meetings, events, and other destinations, ensuring punctuality and comfort.
• Vehicle Care: Maintain the assigned vehicle in excellent condition, performing routine checks, and ensuring it is clean, fueled, and ready for use at all times.
• Route Planning: Plan and navigate the best routes based on traffic conditions, time of day, and destination requirements. Adapt quickly to changes in plans or unexpected delays.
• Discretion and Confidentiality: Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding the employer’s personal, family, and business matters. Respect the privacy of the employer and their family members at all times.
• Safety and Security: Prioritize safety while driving, following all traffic laws and regulations. Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers, including assisting with luggage or packages if required.
• Personal Assistance: Provide occasional assistance with errands as directed by the employer.
• Maintenance & Cleanliness: Keep the vehicle clean and in good working order. Perform basic maintenance tasks such as washing the car, checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and scheduling regular maintenance or repairs.
• Emergency Preparedness: Be prepared to handle emergencies such as vehicle breakdowns, accidents, or sudden changes in plans with calmness and professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 02 years of experience as a personal driver or in a similar role, with a strong track record of professionalism and reliability.
• License: A valid driver license from Maldives or from the coutry of citizenship is a must. The driver should have an excellent driving record (no violations or accidents).
• Skills:
  • Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.
  • Discretion and trustworthiness, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact respectfully with family members and others.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and duties.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for long periods and assist with the occasional loading or unloading of luggage, groceries, or packages.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a personal driver individuals or in a private household.
• Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance.
• Knowledge of emergency first aid or safety training.
• Should be able to speak and read in English.
