 Technician  

Job Summary

We are seeking a Freelance Technician to support electrical and solar system installations across islands in the Maldives. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on electrical experience who are comfortable travelling, working independently, and supporting on-site installation and troubleshooting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned islands to support installation and technical works
• Lead system installations on-site
• Assist with electrical wiring, equipment installation, and system setup
• Perform basic testing, inspections, and fault identification
• Follow installation drawings, safety procedures, and technical guidelines
• Coordinate with operations and technical teams on progress
• Submit installation updates and site feedback after each assignment

Requirements

• Valid electrical license (mandatory)
• Willingness to travel to islands for project assignments
• Physically fit for field-based work
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions responsibly

Contract & Duration

• Freelance / project-based engagement
• Initial contract: 3 months
• Performance will be evaluated upon completion, with potential for extension or longer-term opportunities based on project needs and performance

Salary & other allowances

• Salary : MVR 20,000 per month

• Travel and accommodation provided
• Food allowance provided (as applicable)
