Job Summary

We are seeking a Freelance Technician to support electrical and solar system installations across islands in the Maldives. This role is suitable for individuals with hands-on electrical experience who are comfortable travelling, working independently, and supporting on-site installation and basic troubleshooting works.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned islands to support system installations and related technical works

• Assist with electrical wiring, equipment installation, and system setup

• Carry out basic testing, inspections, and fault identification

• Follow installation drawings, safety procedures, and technical instructions

• Coordinate with the operations and technical team on work progress

• Submit basic installation updates and site feedback after each assignment

Requirements

• Prior experience in electrical works, solar installations, or technical field work

• Basic understanding of electrical systems (AC/DC preferred)

• Ability and willingness to travel to islands for short-term assignments

• Physically fit for on-site and field-based work

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions responsibly

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

• Experience with solar PV systems or battery installations

• Technical certification or vocational training in electrical works

• Previous island-based or project-based work experience

Contract & Payment

• Freelance / project-based engagement

• Payment per assignment or agreed daily rate

• Travel and accommodation provided or reimbursed (as applicable)
