Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a Freelance Technician based in Fuvahmulah to help with electrical and solar system installations across different islands in the Maldives.

This role is suitable for someone who has basic electrical experience, is willing to travel, and can work independently on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to different islands for project work
• Support and carry out solar system installations
• Help with electrical wiring and equipment setup
• Perform basic testing and identify simple faults
• Follow installation drawings and safety guidelines
• Communicate with the team on progress
• Submit updates and feedback after each job

Requirements

• Must be currently based in Fuvahmulah
• Willing to travel and stay on islands when required
• Physically fit for field work
• Able to work independently and follow instructions
• Basic electrical knowledge is preferred

Training

• Training will be provided to help you understand our systems and installation process

---

Contract & Duration

• Freelance / project-based role
• Initial contract: 2 months
• Opportunity to extend or move into a longer-term role based on performance

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: MVR 20,000 per month
• Travel and accommodation provided
• Food allowance provided (when applicable)
