Shape the future of primary education nationwide! We are seeking a senior technical expert to lead the design and formulation of national remediation guidelines and early-grade diagnostic tools. ⏱️ Hours: Part-time (2–4 hours per weekday)
📅 Duration: June – December 2026
💰 Compensation: R 10,000 per month
📍 Location: Hybrid (Remote & on-site)
Audit & Review: Conduct technical audits of existing national literacy/numeracy policies and toolkits via classroom observations.
Author National Guidelines: Author the revised national guidelines for primary-level literacy and numeracy remediation.
Develop Tools: Design specialized diagnostic testing tools to catch learning gaps early, alongside progressive student tracking charts for teachers.
Capacity Building: Support the rollout across 20 pilot schools by co-developing self-learning scripts, reference manuals, and instructional videos.
Education: Master’s degree in Education, Primary Literacy, Mathematics Education, Foundational Learning, or a closely related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience designing foundational learning materials, early grade reading/math assessments, or national curriculum tools.
Skills: Expert-level knowledge of early childhood phonics, numeracy frameworks, data-driven intervention design, and teacher training.
