At AEON, we are making the Maldives diesel-free for the benefit of its
people and the environment. We're looking for a driven and capable
professional to help lead our technical support team, playing a critical role
in helping the Maldives adopt sustainable energy solutions.
Role Description
Training and Certification: Oversee the training and certification of
new agents or agent trainers, ensuring they are fully prepared to meet
company standards and perform effectively.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Serve as the main contact for
complex technical issues that technicians cannot resolve,
occasionally requiring on-site visits to provide hands-on solutions.
Problem Diagnosis and Solutions: Diagnose technical problems and
implement both immediate fixes and long-term solutions to ensure
smooth and sustainable operations.
Collaboration with AEON UK: Liaise with AEON UK to evaluate and
adapt new technologies and updated versions for practical application
in the Maldives.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary: Rf 25,000-35,000 per month.
Required Skills
Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Must be a fluent
speaker in both Dhivehi and English, with excellent people skills to
interact effectively across teams and stakeholders.
Technical Background and Practical Expertise: An engineering
background is essential, preferably in electrical engineering with
hands-on experience in installing PV systems, inverters, and testing.
Mechanical engineering knowledge is also preferred, especially with
practical applications.
Detail-Oriented and Proactive: Must have a sharp attention to detail,
work independently, and take initiative in solving challenges.
