Position Type: Permanent (Initial contract shall be for a period of 1 (one) year. The contract shall be renewed as permanent based on performance upon successful completion of one year.)
REQUIREMENTS
- ACCA Skills level or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance or other similar accounting qualification
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in Accounting field (Preferably in management reporting and familiar with IFRS)
- Computer skills with knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dhivehi and English
- Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Analytic thinking leadership and problem-solving skills
- A team player, able to work independently and adhere to tight reporting deadlines
- Pleasant personality
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and analyze company’s cash flow and escalate identified risks to the supervisor.
- Prepare management/strategic reports, annual budget, and relevant documents for management and other stakeholders.
- Research and propose investment opportunities to authorized persons/committees for advice/approval.
- Analyze and evaluate investment risk profiles and returns, and submit findings to the supervisor.
- Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, investees, and related stakeholders to ensure proper communication of the company’s interests.
- Prepare, reconcile, and post accounting entries related to investments and banking.
