Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
- Drive Sales and Discovery: Assist with sales while actively helping customers discover our seasonal collections, maintaining OVS customer service standards at all times.
- Provide Styling Advice: Assist customers with personalized product recommendations, utilizing an in-depth knowledge of our garments, fits, and fabrics.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Act as a dedicated host on the sales floor, ensuring every customer feels welcome and supported throughout their shopping experience.
Inventory & Retail Operations
- Department Ownership: Maintain proper inventory management and ensure high product availability within your assigned department.
- Proactive Restocking: Replenish the floor from the stockroom, ensuring garments are correctly sized, folded, and hung.
- Stock Management: Assist with monthly stock counts and ensure backend operational tasks (packing, quality checks) are completed efficiently.
- Campaign Support: Execute all tasks related to in-store events, seasonal promotions, and new collection launches efficiently.
- Team Coordination: Utilize Retail Sheets for interdepartmental communication and coordinate effectively with the team for daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
Visual Merchandising & Store Upkeep
- Execute Visual Guidelines: Set up the store and update displays by strictly applying the exhibition guidelines shared by the visual team.
- Maintain Presentation: Conduct daily display resets and ensure the product exhibition consistently enhances the apparel.
- Floor Upkeep: Carry out continuous tidying straightening hangers, clearing fitting rooms, and ensuring the store remains organized, clean, and visually appealing.
- Elevate the Environment: Support overall customer experience standards by maintaining a pristine retail environment at all times.
Requirements
- Education: O’ Level diploma or higher.
- Experience: Prior working experience as a Retail Assistant is required; comprehensive on-the-job training regarding OVS standards will be provided.
- Communication Skills: Confidence in written and spoken communication for both Dhivehi- and English-speaking customers.
- Customer Focus: A strong passion for great customer service, fashion, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Mindset: A problem-solving, self-starting approach with high attention to detail.
- Personality: Energetic, outgoing, pleasant, and friendly.
