As a senior member of the Food & Beverage Department, he/she shall be responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective running of the food & beverage operations in the outlet, as well to ensure the restaurant is ready for business prior to its opening hours and all team members and reporting work on time according as scheduled.
Hardworking with a positive attitude and pleasant personality.
Minimum 02 years of experience in a similar position in a five-star resort.
Ability to communicate fluently in English. (Additional language is an added advantage)
Ability to work extended hours when necessary.

Must be able to implement and conduct the training of all staff under his supervision to the highest standards in customer service, sanitation requirements, company guidelines, outlet routines, and working schedules.
Motivate and drive our talent to achieve the highest standard of service and food and beverage to our guests.
Control standards, performance, employees' conduct, dress code, appearance, sanitation, etc., according to established policies.
Work in co-operation with the Chef and Sous-Chefs to ensure top quality and fair prices, and to see that below standard items are never accepted or served.
Develop new and analyze existing procedures and special promotions that will improve guest patronage under the guidelines of the Velassaru Maldives’ policies .
Maintaining excellent grooming and hygiene ensuring all grooming standards are met in relation to personal grooming and uniform presentation.
