Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and provide friendly service. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues.
• Transaction Processing: Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit transactions using a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Sales Assistance: Support sales efforts by promoting products and services, upselling when appropriate.
• Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels and restocking shelves as necessary.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of transactions and prepare cash reports at the end of the shift.
• Compliance: Adhere to company policies and procedures related to cash handling and security.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the cashier area clean and organized, ensuring a safe and pleasant shopping environment.
