Job Description

General Requirements

• Sc. in Nursing / Diploma in Nursing and Post B.Sc. Nursing
• Registered Nurse at a Licensing Authority
• Minimum 2 years of nursing practice in a 150-bedded hospital within the recent 5 years
• Good English communication skills
• Minimum score of IELTS Academic 5.5 or OET minimum score C (for expats)

Job Specification

• Nursing care role within the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit and Surgical Day Care Unit
• Demonstrate understanding of nursing care, processes and procedures in area of care
• Excellent vital sign monitoring with focus on monitoring post-sedation or general anesthesia, including airway management
• Ability to work effectively independently and in a team
• Understanding of scope of practice and accurate documentation requirements
• Assist the anesthetist/doctor’s with any emergency care requirements in the PACU
• Need to be flexible to adjust care
