Job Description

General Requirements

• Diploma / B.Sc. in Nursing & Midwifery
• Work experience in Maternal and Child Health unit (s), Obstetric/Gynae operation theater or IVF Clinic
• Registered Nurse at a Licensing Authority
• Good English communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

 

Job Specification

• Schedule cases in collaboration with other team members
• Assist management of the fertility couples as per the guidelines and protocols
• Counsel patients as part of preparation for procedures
• Prepare and assist patients for ovum pick up, embryo transfer, tese/pese, microtese
• Provide nursing care after the fertility procedures
• Ensure all related documents are maintained
• Maintain inventory of equipments and instruments in the department
• Ensure collaboration and coordination is maintained with relevant departments
• Ensure infection control measures specific to the IVF center are strictly followed at all times
• Ensure quality and safety measures according to International Patient Safety Goals
