Job Description

General Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Radiology Technology
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a hospital setting
  • Registered at a Licensing Authority
  • Good English communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

 

Job Specification

  • Explaining proper imaging procedures to patients, positioning patients correctly, and producing x-rays or other images for a doctor.
  • Perform diagnostic radiological procedures.
  • Use the RIS and PACS system.
  • Work under the supervision of radiologist on an as needed basis.
  • Work with radiologist on film Quality Assurance, exam clarification.
  • Patient transportation.
  • Restocking supplies/cleaning.
  • Administrative work as required.
  • Patient registration and patient scheduling.
  • Participate in an on-call or standby schedule as required.
