About the Role
Islanders Group is looking for a proactive and personable Property Coordinator to manage our rental property portfolio on a part-time, hybrid basis. You will be the first point of contact for every tenant and prospective client — handling day-to-day interactions, keeping occupancy within targets, and ensuring every touchpoint reflects our brand standards.
This is a flexible role suited to someone who can work independently, stay on top of things remotely, and be available on call when needed.
What You Will Do
Tenant Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all tenants across the portfolio
- Welcome new tenants, conduct handovers, and act as a host throughout their tenancy
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally
- Build strong relationships that drive retention and renewals
Leasing & Occupancy
- Actively promote vacant and upcoming vacant units to prospective tenants
- Work ahead of lease expiry dates — marketing units well before they become available so there is zero downtime between tenancies
- Secure rental agreements and ensure no unit sits vacant for even one month
- Handle all incoming inquiries and calls for available properties
- Negotiate rental terms and pricing based on instructions from the Directors
Brand & Client Relations
- Represent our real estate portfolio as a brand ambassador in every client interaction
- Maintain a professional, service-oriented standard in all communication — in person, over the phone, and in writing
- Uphold and promote the company’s values and reputation in the market
Operations & Maintenance
- Manage and oversee the property management software used to track tenants, leases, payments, and maintenance
- Coordinate and follow through on all maintenance issues — from reporting to resolution
- Troubleshoot operational problems as they arise and escalate where necessary
- Keep accurate records of all property activity, lease status, and tenant communications
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in property management, real estate, or a client-facing operations role
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple properties and tenants simultaneously
- Comfortable working with property management software and digital tools
- A proactive mindset — someone who plans ahead rather than reacts
- Professional presentation and the ability to represent the brand with confidence
- Able to work independently in a hybrid setup and be responsive on call
- Fluent in Dhivehi and English
An above-industry remuneration awaits the right candidate.
