General Requirements
Diploma or Degree in relevant field
At least 2 - 5 years of work experience in Pricing/Costing, Medical or related field
Knowledge of medical terminology is an advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English
Ability to meet deadlines and to work under pressure
Job Specification
Manage the day-to-day pricing activities
Revised prices quarterly, annually and if required and set competitive prices to gain market share and achieve revenue goals
Fetch and analyze the market prices, if required take necessary help from other department
Prepare the package prices for procedure and surgeries and coordinates with insurance companies for better coverage. Analysis of package gain and loss for any price revision
Data collection of historical costs and analysis of cost/pricing
Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions in according with the Hospital protocols
Develop the pricing strategies
Continuously evaluate pricing strategy performance and present recommendations to Assistant Manager Pricing
Preparing the proposal / memo / justification notes for new prices/revised price for pricing committee approval
Expand knowledge and experience by regular engagement with key stakeholders to understand business processes, policies, strategies, and evolving business trends
Prepare backup staffs by training on the above points to make it sustainable process
Support month-end close/year-end close, and reporting
