Job Description
General Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Business or any equivalent field
Diploma in ACCA
At least 3-5 years of experience in Payroll, Finance or a similar role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Experience in Accounting & HR software, additional system knowledge a plus
In-depth understanding of payroll processes, labor & employment law, and best practices
Precise attention to detail, analytical and time management skills
Job Specification
Keep track of all employee related payments (ticket, recruitment, income tax, credit schemes, scholarship, pension, accommodation rent & utility related payments, etc.)
Keep track of employee-related contracts and agreements of the company
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of the payroll process are completed in an accurate and timely manner
Ensure accurate calculation and timely processing of doctors’ professional fee and incentives
Keep up and be competent with legislations impacting payroll
Maintain all payroll information and records in accordance with statutory requirements and support internal and external audits related as such
Carry out day-to-day operations of payroll accounting department
Accurate and timely recording of transactions – Bookkeeping
Check and verify every payment entry in the accounting system before being processed
Verification and posting of employee-related payments/transactions
Establish, maintain, and reconcile accounts payable, general ledger and bank transactions, update records and information in the accounting system and carry out system reconciliation
Carry out month-end and year-end closing procedures
Completion of other relevant tasks assigned by the HOD from time to time
