Job Description
Pastry Cooks need to be creative and artistic and should be able to handle all works related to confectionery.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare all kind of Cakes, Cookies, Pastries (both savory and sweet), Pies and other kind of deserts according to the requirement.
Check daily production schedule to determine variety and quantity of items to prepare and produce.
Weigh ingredients following recipes and prepare items according to the recipes provided.
Organize the kitchen, gather and stock ingredients and plan production.
Prepare all the components, i.e., sauces, garnishes and store appropriately.
Clean machinery, tools and work place after used.
Make sure to prepare Quality, Standard, Clean and Safe food all the time.
Make sure to clean and organize the Freezers/Chillers stored and production area all the time.
Make sure occupational safety and personal hygiene is maintained accordingly.
Work with electrical machineries, ovens and mix ingredients using electric mixers.
Combining ingredients, shaping dough, blending colors, detail-oriented and creative.
Check and put the label of production and expiry date appropriately to all the products.
Communicate well with Superiors and colleagues to run the production smoothly without any break down.
Undertake and carry out other duties/responsibilities upon Management request.
