Select appropriate plant species, materials, and construction techniques for each project, considering factors such as climate, soil conditions, and maintenance requirements.
Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to integrate landscape designs with existing structures and infrastructure.
Manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring that deadlines are met and costs are controlled.
Oversee the implementation of landscape projects, including site preparation, planting, and construction, to ensure that designs are executed according to specifications.
Provide guidance and support to junior staff members, interns, and contractors involved in landscape projects.
Stay informed about current trends, technologies, and best practices in landscape architecture, and incorporate new ideas into design solutions.
