Completed GCE A’ Level education or above
Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in related field
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Specification
Work with Chief and Assistant Chief Medical Lab Technologist in managing the daily lab operations in terms of stock, staffing, services and other daily issues
Communicate with warehouse, procurement and finance regarding stock management
Communicate with lab technologists and lab assistants regarding referral lab test process
Communicate with HR and relevant team members regarding the daily staff schedule and rostering
Assist in administrative tasks related to daily, weekly, monthly events, meetings and reports
Ensure copies of all forms used for phlebotomy and blood banking are kept available at all times
Be familiar with and apply all hospital policies
Display courteous, sympathetic, professional manner towards patients, co-workers, nursing and medical staff
Follow standard precautions including universal safety precautions wherever applicable
Keep laboratory area neat and ensure all supplies are sufficiently replenished
Maintain par levels of inventory in Phlebotomy section and other sections
Complete assigned duties efficiently and in a timely manner
Prioritize the tasks appropriately
Assist in transporting the samples to other labs when necessary
Seek guidance and direction when necessary
Demonstrate the value of team concept on a consistent basis
Assist Laboratory Technologists where necessary
Perform all delegated tasks as given out by the Chief Medical Laboratory Technologist or designee
