IT TECHNICIAN

SILVER SANDS IS THE LEADING OPERATOR OF DIVE AND WATER SPORTS FACILITIES AT UPMARKET RESORTS ACROSS THE MALDIVES. WITH 13 CENTERS UNDER OUR MANAGEMENT, WE ALSO OVERSEE SEVERAL SHOWROOMS, NAMELY EVO HOME, EVO FLOORING, EVO SOLUTIONS AND SEA GEAR, ALONGSIDE AN INBOUND TRAVEL BUSINESS.

WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING A DYNAMIC AND SELF-DISCIPLINED INDIVIDUAL TO JOIN OUR HEAD OFFICE TEAM. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS A HIGH LEVEL OF MOTIVATION AND ENERGY.

THIS POSITION IS AVAILABLE FROM APRIL 2024

Requirement / Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar field or position.
• Able to communicate fluently in both verbal and written English.
• Working technical knowledge of current network protocols, operating systems, and standards.
• Should be responsible for IT related functions of the Company under the guidance of the IT Manager.

              Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:

• Knowledge in Computer Hardware.
• Experience in Retails Pro, Micros, Infor and O365 Products is and added advantage.
• Carrying out day to day IT-related activities and maintaining user requests.
• Maintaining PABX, Door Lock systems, CCTV and Music Systems.
• Attending to network troubleshooting, Windows server, LAN and WI-FI related issues.
