Job Description

General Requirements

• Minimum one (1) year experience in related field
• Basic English communication skills
• Physically fit to endure long working hours
• Ability to follow instruction and to work independently

 

Job Specification

• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, organization and sanitation of assigned work areas including patient & resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, nursing stations, handrails, dining rooms, shower rooms, public bathrooms and offices as assigned
• Keep utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition. Disinfects and sterilizes equipment and supplies
• Dust furniture and equipment. Wash walls, ceiling and woodwork
• Clean the inside of patient & resident room windows, door panels, and sills
• Empties waste baskets, transports trash and waste to disposal area
• Stock housekeeping cart at the end of the day, keeping the cart in a clean orderly fashion with chemicals not in use locked inside the cart
• Assist in every aspect of the operation as requested
