Position: Fire Alarm and Fire Technician
Salary: USD 450 - USD 500

Job Purpose

To ensure the proper installation, maintenance, and functioning of fire alarm systems and fire protection equipment within the company premises. The Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting Technician plays a critical role in safeguarding lives and property by adhering to fire safety standards, conducting preventive maintenance, and responding promptly to emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems and fire protection equipment (sprinklers, extinguishers, hydrants, detectors).
• Conduct routine checks and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
• Test and calibrate fire alarm panels and detection devices for proper functionality.
• Respond to fire alarms and emergencies, providing technical support as needed.
• Ensure all fire safety equipment meets quality and operational standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure fire safety compliance during projects.
• Identify and report potential fire hazards within company premises.
• Assist in fire drills and training sessions for staff.
• Keep updated on local fire safety laws, codes, and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or Certificate in Fire Safety, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in fire alarm systems and fire protection equipment installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of fire safety standards, codes, and regulations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to emergencies.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in using fire safety tools, alarm panels, and related equipment.
