About the Island Hotel Symposium (IHS)
The inaugural Island Hotel Symposium is a pivotal event designed to strategically position the Maldives as the premier wellness destination for international wellness travelers. The event will feature a comprehensive travel symposium alongside several curated experiences, all aimed at showcasing the unique, holistic wellness offerings of the Maldivian islands.
The Role and Function of the Digital Marketing Partner
The selected partner will be responsible for spearheading and executing the complete digital strategy for the symposium, including attendee and sponsor acquisition.
Key Functions will include:
- Strategy Development: Creating a comprehensive digital marketing strategy covering lead generation, social media, content marketing, and email campaigns.
- Execution & Management: Overseeing all digital platforms, including the symposium website, social media channels, and paid advertising campaigns (PPC, social ads).
- Content Creation: Developing engaging digital content (graphics, videos, blog posts, press releases) focused on the symposium's theme: Maldives as a Wellness Destination.
- Audience Targeting: Specifically targeting international hotel owners, tourism stakeholders, travel agents, and corporate sponsors in the wellness and luxury travel sectors.
- Performance Reporting: Providing regular, data-driven analysis and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and conversion metrics.
Requirements & Ideal Profile
We are seeking a partner with a proven track record of success in high-value event marketing, preferably within the tourism, luxury, or wellness sectors.
Essential Requirements:
- Expertise: Demonstrated success in developing and executing end-to-end digital marketing campaigns for major events or conferences.
- Sector Knowledge: Familiarity with the international wellness tourism market and the luxury hospitality sector.
- Technical Proficiency: Mastery of SEO/SEM, social media marketing (LinkedIn, Instagram), email marketing platforms, and web analytics tools.
- Content Excellence: Strong ability to create compelling, high-quality digital assets and copy.
- Location (Preferred): While global partners are welcome, experience or an understanding of the Maldivian market is highly advantageous.
Partnership Terms
Islands Healers/Soft Atoll offers a performance-based partnership model, inviting the selected partner to be truly vested in the symposium's success. We are open to discussing terms structured around:
- Profit Sharing: A percentage share of the symposium’s total revenues, including ticket sales, registration fees, and sponsorship revenue.
- Equity Partnership: A negotiated equity stake in the Island Hotel Symposium venture.
